What to do in an emergency

If you are in a life-threatening emergency, dial triple-zero (000) for police, fire, or ambulance services.

If you require security assistance, dial ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵSecurity on 02 6125 2249. Follow the prompts and press 1 for immediate assistance.

If an emergency event is occurring on campus, follow the directions of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵSecurity and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵstaff and move to a safe location. You should also download the ANUOK app (see below) for current alerts.
 

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵSecurity

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵSecurity manages security services on campus, including safety initiatives and providing security related resources to the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵcommunity.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵSecurity can assist you if you feel unsafe or would like to report something on-campus. To contact ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵSecurity, call 02 6125 2249 (extension 52249 from internal phones) or use the ANUOK app and follow the prompts.

If you feel unsafe while on campus, you can request a Unisafe escort (dial 02 6125 2249), or you can try to walk with a friend, or a group, especially at night. The  also has the virtual and walk home with a friend options (see below for more information).
 

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵOK app

ANUOK is the official safety and wellbeing app for our ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵcommunity.

The app features include quick access to Security, emergency information and current alerts, COVID updates, safety tools, a campus map and other personal support resources.

All staff and students should download the ANUOK App.

Make sure you turn on push notifications to stay informed about what's happening that affects our community.
